The Bedford Arms is a charming country house hotel located in the peaceful Chiltern village of Chenies, just 10 minutes from the M25 motorway. Built in 1860 and recently refurbished in a traditional English style, this attractive Elizabethan-style inn was once owned by the Duke of Bedford. Our stay was made comfortable and safe with Covid-19 arrangements in place, and the room was large and comfortable with coffee-making facilities, an iron/ironing board and a table and two easy chairs. The en-suite was large and had a lovely shower with thick white towels. The view from the windows was of open fields, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Breakfast was served up in our room, and the food for lunch and dinner was delicious. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning in the future.

St Albans is just 5-10 minutes away by foot, and is a charming place with quaint little cafes, posh restaurants, high-end clothing stores, and more.
