A Room in the City - West is a wonderfully luxurious and romantic B&B in the heart of Edinburgh. Situated just 19 minutes' walk from Edinburgh Castle and a 2-minute walk from Princes Street, this building dates back to 1700's and offers free WiFi access throughout. Our hosts May and David were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, allowing us to switch rooms last minute and preparing a special bed for our beloved Labrador. Our room was spacious and cozy, with a jacuzzi bath, hairdryer, kettle, TV and the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. Every morning we had a delicious breakfast of fruit, pastries and/or cooked food with tea and coffee, and our hosts even brought breakfast to our room on our final day! Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Edinburgh - you won't regret it!
