Novotel Cardiff Centre

This Novotel is located 5 miles from the Cardiff International Arena. It features an indoor swimming pool, a gym, a restaurant, and plenty of other amenities. On arrival, the male restroom was smelly and full of urine. The food hygiene rating was not favorable, so the restaurant was not suitable for taking meals. The swimming pool was closed until the end of the month, and some floors were used for refugees. Security guards were around the door, but the staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast could only be paid for immediately, and cash was not accepted. On the day of departure, the car was damaged, and the CCTV footage was not accessible. The shower was faulty and alternated between hot and cold. Despite all this, we had a nice stay as a treat for our son. The room was lovely, the breakfast was delicious and the staff provided us with a special birthday treat. The swimming pool was also nice, with a jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna. All in all, a good experience.
