Crookabeck B&B is a charming and cozy farm located in the beautiful Patterdale area of The Lake District. You can enjoy stunning mountain views, free WiFi, and private parking. The bed and breakfast offers a Full English/Irish or vegetarian breakfast. Our room had gorgeous views of the mountains, and was just a 15-minute walk from Ullswater Lake, where you can rent boats. You can also take a 30-minute hike up one of the nearby trails for a panoramic view of Ullswater, Brotherswater, and the surrounding mountains. Ambleside, Grasmere, and Glenridding are just a short drive away. Our host, Adam, was very welcoming and helpful. His parents, Mary and Bennie, showed us around the farm and taught us lots about their Herdwick, Mohair, and Red Fox sheep. The White Lion Pub is within walking distance, and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants in Glenridding. We felt so welcome and relaxed during our stay at Crookabeck B&B, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape in The Lake District.
