However, the high price tag is not reflected in the quality of the service and rooms, as there are signs of wear and tear and slow service. The spa is nice, but the Covid safety measures could be improved. The afternoon tea is pleasant, but the restaurant offers an average dining experience, and breakfast is very disappointing. Unfortunately, our stay was spoilt by a noisy generator and wedding guests, and the manager has been unhelpful in resolving the issue.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, and we enjoyed the heated indoor pool and free WiFi. The hotel is a great size with spacious new changing rooms and a lovely spa area. We also had a delicious meal in the restaurant and a pleasant drink in a local pub. The hotel has recently been renovated and looks modern and cosy. We arrived late and were given a complimentary breakfast and refund for the room upgrade, which was a great touch. We would definitely recommend the Manor House Hotel and look forward to returning soon.
