Guests can also work out in the fitness centre or take a short 8-minute walk to the beach. Unfortunately, some guests have experienced less than ideal stays, with beds of bad quality and rude staff. The rooms were also unclean and not adequately supplied with towels and toilet paper. On top of that, guests have reported receiving noise complaints and bond threats while other guests were allowed to have loud parties all night. Guests have also reported broken vacuum cleaners and cigarette butts on the balcony. Despite the location, it is advised that guests stay away from this hotel, as it offers an overpriced and bad experience.

Royal On The Park is a luxurious hotel located directly opposite the City Botanic Gardens in Brisbane. Guests can enjoy a relaxing stay in the modern rooms with views of the lush green gardens, as well as access to a lounge bar, restaurant, outdoor swimming pool and hot tub. Our experience was nothing short of exceptional! From the friendly staff that welcomed us with endless patience, to the elegant and comfortable ambience of the lobby, to the top quality fresh products offered for breakfast every day. The pool was a bit too cold for swimming, however the hot tub was a great way to end the day, with dazzling lights of nighttime Brisbane and dynamic lighting of the hotel. The hotel is also conveniently located near the Riverside Ferry Terminal, the Sunday Market in the Botanic Gardens, and Southbank with its range of attractions and restaurants. Our only complaint was that the waitress didn't replace our sparkling water that was spilt, and kept interrupting us at dinner. This aside, we had a wonderful stay at Royal On The Park.

While the resort can get quite crowded with families, there is no room service and the internet can be quite slow. You will not find an elevator, either. Despite these shortcomings, Peppers Beach Club is still an enjoyable experience and great value for the price.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Convention Centre, shops, and an array of restaurants and bars. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the services provided were luxurious. Room service breakfast was delicious, although a tad cold. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and extended it for another 3 nights! A truly wonderful experience.

Montego Sands Apartments is a great place to stay if you want to be close to the beach. Located just 100 metres from Mermaid Beach, it features a hot tub and a heated outdoor pool. The property offers a selection of self-contained 1 bedroom units with smallish kitchens, washer and dryer, and balconies with pool or garden views. Check-in is easy with after-hours check-in, and there's plenty of space to park your car. Although there's construction going on next door, the location is excellent, with easy access to the Glink tram, beach, Pacific Fair, and a range of restaurants. The friendly management are willing to help if needed, though the wi-fi signal is a bit weak. All in all, it's a great spot for a beach getaway.
