The Chancellor on Currie is a modern 4-star hotel conveniently located in the heart of Adelaide CBD (Central Business District). It offers a variety of amenities such as on-site swimming pool, European bistro, hot tub, fitness centre, laundry facilities and a 24-hour reception. The hotel is close to attractions such as Adelaide Oval, The Convention Centre, Festival Centre, Rundle Mall, Sky city Adelaide Casino, the Adelaide Central Markets, Adelaide Zoo and the scenic banks of the River Torrens. Our experience was excellent as the staff were very friendly and accommodating, the bed was comfortable and the room was warm and clean. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choices. We also had access to the gym, the indoor pool, and the spa. However, the pool was a bit too cold to use. The location is great with plenty of restaurants and 24-hour parking nearby. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by noise and dust issues. We had to change rooms as our first one was too noisy due to a fight outside. The furniture and carpets were also a bit dusty. We would recommend the hotel but you should be aware of the noise and dust issues.
