The Mabelle is a beautiful, historic homestay in Pawhuska. The grounds are well-maintained, with plenty of flowers around the porch and balcony. The interior is stunning, with timeless antiques, modern artwork, and cozy décor. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped with amenities, and the terrace was a great place to relax with other guests and enjoy the sunset. Our host, James, was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and shared wonderful stories about the house’s history. We also had access to the kitchen, with a variety of snacks and beverages. The Mabelle has welcomed famous guests such as Harry Truman and Lyndon Johnson, and there are plenty of attractions nearby such as the Ben Johnson Cowboy Museum and the Tall Grass Prairie Preserve. We would highly recommend the Mabelle for a comfortable and memorable stay.
