The Hotel at the University of Maryland is a grand and luxurious hotel located directly across the street from the University campus and 13.9 km from Washington DC. The hotel boasts beautiful facilities and rooms, featuring modern amenities like electronic window shades and lighting. Beds are comfy with wonderful pillows, and blackout shades keep the morning light out. The lobby is gorgeous, with a welcoming bar at the center. The attached garage is very convenient and has high clearance, perfect for big SUVs. There's also a great pool, gym and separate change rooms for men and women. Unfortunately, there's no onsite or complimentary breakfast option besides the bagel cafe, no in room microwave or refrigerator. However, the restaurant The Hall at CP behind the hotel is great. We had an issue with our reservation when we checked in, but the staff was accommodating and quickly resolved the issue. Overall, we would definitely come back and recommend the Hotel at the University of Maryland to anyone looking for a luxurious and convenient stay near the University.

The room is extremely clean, with comfortable beds and a large shower with a rain shower head. Customer service is always excellent, with warm welcomes from the staff. Unfortunately, there is no place for a decent breakfast in the hotel, and the coffee maker in the room may not work. Despite these minor issues, the resort offers a great experience, with delicious food and incredible decorations. You can't beat the name MGM and the experience you get is worth every penny.
