Crystal Mountain Resort is the perfect place for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway. Located in Thompsonville, it is just 30 minutes from Traverse City and features 58 downhill slopes for skiing and a renowned full-service spa. The resort is beautifully decorated with festive lights during the holidays and offers hiking trails, a golf course, and a variety of shops, restaurants, and activities. Our room featured a jet tub and a fireplace, and the staff was friendly and informative. The pool hours may not be ideal, but there is still plenty to do and enjoy. Plus, our second night was in a 2 bedroom Wintergreen which was very nice. Breakfast was delicious, even if there were no simple options. We were very pleased with our stay and recommend this resort for anyone looking for a cozy and memorable escape.
