While there, you may spot an elk outside your window. There is also a neat kitchen to cook in, though you may not have time to use it. Be sure to book early for early check in and late check out, as they can't always accommodate. Overall, the stay was great, the views are wonderful and the elk was a great addition. Don't forget to bring your own pillow!

This motel off Interstate 25 is not the most desirable place to stay. The check-in process is slow and inefficient and the rooms are outdated and dingy. There is a fitness center and a seasonal outdoor pool, but the pool is not open or clean for use. Travelers are not allowed to smoke near their doors, so they are forced to stand alone in the middle of the parking lot, which is not safe. Homeless people and someone knocking on the door in the middle of the night add to the feeling of unease. The breakfast is a rip off and the only thing warm to eat are waffles, but the line is too long. This motel might be a good option for a cheaper rate, but it is not recommended for couples or anyone looking for a safe and comfortable stay.
