The Mimslyn Inn is a beautiful old building located in Luray, just 1.9 km from Luray Caverns. Our stay was made comfortable and safe with abundant signage regarding social distancing and current safety guidelines, along with a bottle of disinfectant for our room. The beds are extremely comfortable and you'll get a great night's rest! The staff were friendly and helpful, and the grounds were nice with lots of open space, two pools, and hammocks. There is also a Speakeasy restaurant offering a wide range of dishes. Guests can also enjoy complimentary breakfast and coffee/muffins in the lobby, and the view is lovely. All in all, the Mimslyn Inn is a great place to stay for a peaceful and safe getaway.

The Crossings Golf Course is just a 5-minute drive away. Our stay was made even more comfortable with the excellent attention and help of Britney at Check-in. We slept well, enjoying the super comfortable mattress on the bed. Breakfast was a typical COVID-19 style Grab & Go, but it worked fine for us. Unfortunately, we experienced a few issues with our bathroom, and the front desk was not responsive. However, we would still recommend staying here, and hope you get the same great service from Britney at the front desk that we did. Located 8 miles outside of Richmond, VA, this hotel is a great choice for snowbirds on their way to and from Florida. It features free Wi-Fi, a grab and go breakfast, and easy access to the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden (2 miles away). The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the price was right for the area. However, there was no coffee upon arrival, and breakfast was minimal. There was also no WiFi, and the TV didn’t work. The bath in room 214 needs to be looked at, and the king bed is not stable. Overall, the room was clean, quiet, and a good value.
