Unprofessional staff, poor food quality and drinks, and a claustrophobic atmosphere have led to some guests feeling anxious and uncomfortable. If furry costumes and vaping is not your thing, it's best to avoid this hotel.

A gas fireplace is available in each room, and there is an outdoor pool on the property. Unfortunately, the manager at check-in was unhelpful in giving directions, and there is a $25 per night hold placed on your card upon check in. Nevertheless, this is a great place for a romantic getaway or a family vacation.

The Phoenician, a luxury resort in Phoenix, is situated on 250 acres at the base of Camelback Mountain. It boasts nine swimming pools, a golf course, a full-service spa, eight restaurants, and guest rooms with private patios or balconies. The location offers easy access to Scottsdale and is perfect for those looking to relax and explore. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the mini bar fridge is stocked with a nice variety of drinks. The pools and spa are top-notch and the guacamole is delicious. Unfortunately, there was no advance notice of an emergency drill, and the groundskeeper woke some guests up at 5:30am with leaf-blowing. Additionally, some of the resort's attractions were closed during our stay. Despite these issues, the staff are courteous, and the experience was overall pleasant.
