The Golden Eagle is a great place to stay while visiting Chester. With its 4-star accommodation, it is conveniently located near the Racecourse and the Zoo. Our room had a Cheshire Regiment theme with an en suite walk in shower, complimentary tea/coffee facilities, and antique furniture. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel provided modern amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the pub, with its locals, jukebox, and great selection of drinks. We also opted for the breakfast, which was cooked to perfection. Free parking was a bonus, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. All in all, a great stay!
