Macdonald Inchyra Hotel & Spa is a traditional Scottish manor house set within landscaped gardens and just off Junction 5 of the M9 motorway. It features a spa, restaurant and a steakhouse. Our stay included a dinner in the steakhouse, which had 3 options - a frying steak for £19, sirloin or ribeye for £25 each, however the steaks were of mediocre quality and not worth the price. We also had deserts, which were tiny and bland. The accommodation was comfortable and clean, however service was slow and the bedrooms need an update. The hotel is close to the oil refinery so you can get the odd whiff of it, but overall it's a decent three star hotel.
