The Morritt Hotel is a traditional 4-star AA hotel located in the picturesque hamlet of Greta Bridge, close to the Tees Valley and Yorkshire Dales. With a beautiful location and peaceful atmosphere, it is the perfect spot for a relaxing break. Guests can enjoy a massage or spa treatment in the hotel's tranquil spa, or a delicious meal in the restaurant. The bar offers a wide selection of drinks and snacks, and the friendly staff will be happy to help. The hotel also offers a complimentary breakfast, served in the morning. Our rooms are comfortable, clean and inviting, and provide the perfect place to rest and recharge. Although the service on our first day was not up to our expectations, the rest of our stay was pleasant and we enjoyed our time in the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and the staff, especially the 'older lady' serving breakfast, was outstanding. Our second night was wonderful, and we even opted for fish and chips at the bar instead of dinner in the restaurant. Overall, the Morritt Hotel was a great experience and we would definitely stay here again.

The evening meal and breakfast buffet are of a high quality, and the room itself is comfortable and clean, with a spa bath and waterfall shower. There are also table tennis tables, and a round of crazy golf is included in the stay. Service is excellent and the staff are attentive, making their stay even more enjoyable. With great value for money, couples are sure to have a lovely and memorable stay.

Hall Garth Hotel; BW Signature Collection is the perfect place to stay for a relaxing holiday. Located just off the A1 at junction 59, set within 70 acres of parkland, the hotel is surrounded by unspoilt countryside and is perfect for golfers and travellers. Our Granary Suite was a great place to stay with two double bedrooms, a sitting/dining room, three TVs and a tucked away privacy. The beds were so comfortable we overslept! We also used the pool, sauna, spa, gym, restaurant and breakfast room during our stay and everything was great. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, making sure we were happy. The reception helped us coordinate treatments in the spa and the restaurant catered to our allergies. The view over the golf course was stunning. The gym was well equipped and the pool, sauna and jacuzzi kept us relaxed. We felt so chilled we didn't want to leave! Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing experience.

The Manor House Hotel is a charming English manor house dating back to 1429, conveniently located close to the A1 road, that offers free WiFi in public areas and all-day food service. Our superior room was spacious and pet-friendly, with a large TV and wooden wardrobes. The en-suite bathroom had a full-size bath and separate power shower. Although the restaurant and bar were closed due to COVID-19, the hotel provided room service for breakfast and evening meals, which were both of good quality. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel was warm and the rooms clean, with facilities that met all expectations. During my stay I took some walks in West Auckland and found the locals to be polite and welcoming. All in all, I had a pleasant stay at The Manor House Hotel and would highly recommend it.
