The Old Ferry Boat is an historic England inn located on the banks of the Great Ouse River. With its thatched roof and white stone walls, it is considered England's oldest inn. The tastefully furnished rooms offer free Wi-Fi and overlook the river. There is ample car parking and the pub features an attractive exterior and interior. The food is good and there is a good selection of drinks. The rooms are warm and windows can be opened for ventilation. There is also a nice, short walk around the village to the church and holy well. Locals are friendly and the rooms are well-equipped with tea and coffee, fresh bedding, and towels. Unfortunately, with new management, there is no cooked breakfast available and no food on Tuesday evenings. The setting is lovely and the staff is friendly and helpful, but the hotel needs to be updated with health and safety regulations.
