With excellent Covid precautions in place, including glass screens at reception, staff wearing masks, hand sanitiser and well spaced tables in the bar and restaurant, you can have confidence in the safety and cleanliness of your stay. The staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating, and the breakfast area is well maintained. Guests must book slots for the pool in advance, and the rooms are spotless. Unfortunately, some guests have experienced loud noise and strong paint smells in their rooms and a lack of Covid safety measures, so do ensure you check with the hotel directly to ensure your stay is a pleasant one.

The exterior of the hotel is beautiful, however the interior could do with some refurbishment to bring it in line with the elegance of the exterior. Despite this, the Orton Hall Hotel & Spa still offers a great experience.

Quy Mill Hotel & Spa, Cambridge is an AA 4 Silver Star Rated hotel located just outside Cambridge, off the A14 road. It boasts a scenic garden, health club and an ale bar, as well as a restaurant. Our Classic room was clean and comfortable, with heating controls to keep it warm and all the amenities you'd expect, such as iron, hairdryer, room safe, kettle, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, milk, and biscuits. Breakfast included a continental serve yourself buffet and table service for cooked breakfast. The Imagine Health Spa offers access to the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam rooms and relaxation area, allowing you to relax and unwind. Our evening meal and breakfast were both very nice. Quy Mill is a real gem of a place and our stay was a pleasant surprise - we'd happily stay again and recommend it to others!

Holiday Inn Cambridge is an excellent hotel offering modern amenities such as a leisure centre, stylish restaurant and free parking for 200 cars. Its location is ideal, located just off the A14 road and only 2 miles from the centre of Cambridge. The hotel is modern and welcoming, with easy check-in and delicious room service. There is a pool and sauna which guests can enjoy and breakfasts offer a wide selection of food. Rooms are spacious, however parking fees may apply. Although the hair dryer blew up and the air conditioning was not working properly, staff were willing to provide a fan. The only downside is that the rooms may overlook the playground and so may be noisy for those without kids. All in all, Holiday Inn Cambridge provides great value for money and offers a comfortable stay.
