Enjoy the best fish and chips next to the lighthouse and the sea at the Fishmarket, just 10 minutes away from the apartment. All in all, a great place to stay, with excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Caravan on Fantastic site is a great way to explore East Lothian. The caravan itself is spacious, tidy and clean with everything you need. The hosts, Brian and Maria, are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The on-site entertainment and facilities are great, with a playground and swimming pool. The bar and restaurant are reasonably priced and the decking area is perfect for kids. The caravan is perfectly located at the end of a row, giving more privacy and just a stones throw away from the shop and leisure facilities. Highly recommended!

With Covid-19 adjustments in place, Norton House is the perfect spot for a relaxed break outside the city centre.

Located just a 7-minute walk from Edinburgh Airport, the hotel boasts a sauna, a gym and a fine restaurant, making it an ideal spot for those looking for a comfortable, convenient stay. Receptionist Francesca will make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive, and will do her best to ensure you have a pleasant stay. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, and room service is available if you'd prefer to dine in. The family room is well-suited to families, with two queen sized beds and a sofa bed, offering plenty of sleeping space. The hotel is also conveniently located just a 5-10 minute walk from many places of interest in the city. Breakfast has plenty of choice, and the staff are excellent. All in all, this DoubleTree by Hilton offers an excellent stay in Edinburgh.

Edinburgh Holyrood Hotel is an award-winning 4 star hotel located just metres from Holyrood Park. With Edinburgh Castle just a mile away, it offers free WiFi access, a restaurant and spa, and large, comfortable bedrooms. Unfortunately our experience was not up to the standards we were expecting. When we arrived, our room wasn't ready, and when we were finally given the key it was dirty. We had to book a breakfast slot at 8:15 on a Sunday morning for our included breakfast. The pool and sauna were limited due to COVID, but the changing facilities were not very clean. We checked out early and went elsewhere for dinner and breakfast as the booking system was broken, we were not informed of the broken lift, and we were not given any help with our luggage. It was a highly disappointing stay, and certainly not worth the price we paid.

This 4-star hotel is situated in beautiful, peaceful grounds, between Edinburgh and Glasgow. It is a 10-minute drive from Edinburgh Airport and offers parking for guests. The hotel is rich in historic charm and features a restaurant, a bar, an 18-metre swimming pool, and great leisure facilities. The train station is nearby and offers good ticket prices to Edinburgh and Glasgow. Our room was huge and comfortable, with a big bed and well-equipped bathroom. The wardrobe was large enough to accommodate our luggage, and the television had limited choices. The main part of the hotel is rather tired and worn out, but the staff are friendly and welcoming. Check-in was simple, although there is no elevator, and the bathroom was large but lacked a makeup mirror. Breakfast must be booked at a specific time. All in all, it's a great spot for exploring the locality and beyond.
