The reception staff are friendly and helpful, however the bar and lounge staff could be more engaging with customers and share the history of the Hall. The food available in the restaurant and bar is not as high a quality as expected, but the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. It would be nice to make the most of the lovely surroundings and have more seating outside with umbrellas and lights. Unfortunately, air conditioning is not available in all rooms, despite being advertised on their website, and this might be a consideration for those booking during the summer months. Overall, Sedgebrook Hall offers a pleasant stay in a tranquil environment, though improvements in customer service and air conditioning would make it a more desirable destination.
