The Dovecote is a unique and romantic self-contained 1bed renovated barn situated in the beautiful countryside of Saffron Walden. The property has been modernised to a very high standard with a woodburner, comfortable bedroom, lovely bathroom, and a welcoming living area downstairs. The area is great for walking and nearby Audley End House is only 13 km away. We had a wonderful stay thanks to the complimentary fruit cake and bottle of bubbles in the fridge, and the comfortable bed and amazing shower. The local pub, The Bull, is a great spot for drinks and the nearby town of Saffron Walden is only a 15-20 minute drive away. We'd highly recommend The Dovecote for a romantic getaway.
