Our warm and friendly hosts, Martin and Lorna, welcomed us with tea and shortbread and made us feel right at home. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with an en-suite bathroom. The garden was a delight to behold and the views of the hills were stunning. We enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast each morning, and our hosts were more than happy to offer advice on things to do and places to eat locally. Melrose Abbey is just 5km away, making it the perfect base for exploring the Border Abbeys. We had a wonderful stay at Broomfields Country House and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

St Ola is an excellent B&B located a 15-minute walk from Jedburgh. Our room was spacious and tastefully furnished, with pure cotton covers and a feather duvet, and blackout blinds. The en-suite shower and toilet was luxurious and the largest we’ve ever enjoyed. We were the only guests and had the hosts' full attention. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with special requests cheerfully catered for. Jill is also a qualified hairdresser and offered her professional services. The room was equipped with the latest mod cons and luxury toiletries. Parking is available at the rear of the property. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly, and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was very personal and delicious. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a beautiful countryside setting.
