The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, with a luxury shower room, hospitality tray, toiletries, corkscrew, shoeshine kit and sewing kit. The beds are comfortable and the linen and towels are of high quality. We especially enjoyed the umbrella, bathrobes and the little touches like the homemade soap samples and ‘spray whilst you stay’ aftershave and perfume. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh, local ingredients and everything cooked to perfection. For those travelling by motorcycle, there is a secure parking area behind the building. Cockermouth is a beautiful village, with lots of pubs and restaurants to choose from. We highly recommend Croft Guesthouse to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the area.
