Your host Caroline, and her little dog, are welcoming and available for anything you need. They have provided helpful welcome information with a list of recommended restaurants and pubs, as well as a 4 mile walk from Oystermouth Castle. The location is great, a short walk from the seafront with nearby cafes and restaurants. Plus, it’s a great base for exploring Gower’s stunning beaches. Sky TV, lighting system and bedroom roller blind come with a few minor quirks. Nonetheless, you’ll have a really nice stay!

The Mirador Town House is an incredibly unique guest house, offering a range of cosmopolitan themed rooms from Roman, Egyptian, and Oriental. It is conveniently situated in the Uplands area of Swansea and is just a 20 minute walk from the city centre. The hosts, Phil and Jeanette, were incredibly helpful and accommodating, providing great directions and advice and even providing a special vegan breakfast for my daughter and I. The rooms are spotless and well-decorated, with comfortable beds and great TVs. The bathrooms are particularly impressive, with a shower and a bathtub equipped with bath salts. We will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
