Our hosts Diana and Chris were incredibly welcoming and attentive, offering us tea and biscuits on our arrival. The room was cosy and comfortable, with a hot tub for our use in the garden. There was plenty of communal space indoors and out for us to enjoy. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade preserves and fresh fruit. We also enjoyed a romantic dinner at the excellent restaurant recommended by Diana and Chris. All in all, a perfect stay and an ideal base for exploring the area.

The house has been tastefully renovated to retain its original features, with spacious, comfortable rooms, each with a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee making provisions, and a private bathroom. The breakfast is delicious and varied, with bacon a must-try! We found the beds very comfortable and the surroundings very peaceful. Dunster village is a short 10-minute walk away, as is Dunster Castle, allowing for easy access to the National Trust grounds. We would highly recommend Dunster Mill House and look forward to returning soon.
