The Anchor Inn is located just outside the charming town of Thornbury, 5 km from Thornbury Castle. Here, you'll have access to a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a continental breakfast every morning. Our room was spacious and well-equipped, with a posh kettle, fridge, and plenty of tea and coffee. The bed was enormous and comfortable, and the en suite was large and warm. We enjoyed a DIY breakfast in the room and had the option to have our evening meal in the room if we wanted. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location offers easy walks to the River Severn. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and attractive stay.
