This 4-star guest house offers traditionally furnished rooms, free parking, free Wi-Fi and a tantalizing breakfast menu all just a 15-minute walk from the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon. The guest house is also less than 20 minutes’ drive from the iconic Warwick Castle, built by William the Conqueror in 1068. Our host, Morris, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, taking the time to remember our preferences and make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The rooms were spotless, with a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee facilities and complimentary toiletries. There was a small but pleasant en-suite shower room. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, with soft classical music in the background, and Morris even offered to ring us after we left to remind us we had left a Thermos behind! The location is great, only a short walk to the centre of Stratford, and a taxi to the town centre cost around £4 each way. Overall, a wonderful stay that we wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.
