Our accommodation was top-notch and spotlessly clean, with a large smart TV, comfortable bed, and well-stocked fridge. Yvonne and Arthur are terrific hosts, friendly and obliging, while respecting our privacy. The large garden with bird table and woodpecker was a delight, and breakfast was a varied menu of locally sourced ingredients. Socialise with Yvonne and Arthur if you choose or simply relax in the morning sun with a cup of tea. Enjoy the beaches and restaurants of Newquay, and take in a great view of the countryside from the garden - with the added bonus of Mr Dandy the rabbit hopping around!

Penwyth House is the perfect place to stay while exploring Cornwall. Located on the outskirts of Newquay, the house is situated in a quiet village and within walking distance of Porth Beach and a cracking pub. The room was spotless, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was superb, with a big bathtub in front of the window. Tea and coffee were provided and the room was serviced daily. The breakfast spread was plentiful and delicious, a variety of jams, honey, fresh fruits, toasts and coffee. Mark and Lisa were the perfect hosts, welcoming and attentive. They took Covid precautions seriously, making us feel safe and comfortable. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend Penwyth House!
