Our hosts, John and Adrian, were friendly and accommodating and provided us with a warm welcome and a comfortable stay. The pod itself was spotless, with an ensuite bathroom, kettle, microwave and mini fridge, as well as cosy beds, electric blankets and a heated towel rail for extra comfort. In the morning, we were greeted with a delicious mini breakfast delivered to our door. The garden is a wonderful place to relax and watch the visiting garden birds - and keep an eye out for Sammy the red squirrel! With COVID restrictions in place, the 24-hour gap between guests ensures everyone's safety and a thorough deep cleaning of the pod. We had a wonderful stay at The Shielings and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cosy and comfortable stay in the Highlands.
