The Oaklodge is an idyllic bed and breakfast situated in Newark upon Trent in the Nottinghamshire region. Our welcoming host Jackie greeted us with warmth, giving us a tour of the facilities and introducing us to her beloved puppy. The room was spacious and comfortable, providing us with all the amenities for self-catering. We were also delighted by the welcome cookies and coffee. The large driveway made it easy to park our vehicle. The views of the village and countryside were stunning and the studio was impeccably clean with quality furnishings and a comfy bed. Breakfast was a continental-style with plenty of options. Jackie and her husband Andrew were friendly, helpful and accommodating. We also enjoyed the nearby pub with great food and the orchard to walk our dog. The Oaklodge is an excellent place to stay!
