It is an old building that has been carefully renovated, retaining its original features and tastefully decorated appropriate to its period. Our hosts Karen and Pete are warm, friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The twin bedroom is large and cosy, with very comfortable beds, tea/coffee making provisions and fresh milk provided. The bathroom is spacious and beautifully clean. The breakfasts are delicious with a wide range of choices. It is also close to Dunster Castle, with a torch provided for the evening walk. We had a wonderfully restful and interesting stay and were thoroughly well looked after. Highly recommended!

Ivy Cottage is a beautiful getaway in the rural village of Stawell. Our hosts Chris and Diana welcomed us warmly, offering us a cup of tea as soon as we arrived. Our bedroom was spotlessly clean and we were encouraged to use the other communal areas of the cottage. The real highlight was the hot tub - perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh fruits, cereals and homemade jams. Our hosts were incredibly helpful, giving us lots of tips on where to explore and even recommending a lovely restaurant for our anniversary. This was a truly memorable stay and we will definitely be back!
