The Lazy Mare by the Water is a perfect place to get away from it all and enjoy the peaceful countryside. Located in Rugeley, it's only a short drive away from attractions such as Trentham Gardens, Alton Towers and Chillington Hall. The holiday home is equipped with everything you need, including a hot tub and a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and hob ring. The hosts are very welcoming and accommodating – they even sent a text the night before to let us know we could arrive early. The water was hot and the bed made up when we arrived. There were also towels and a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us. The views were breathtaking and there were lots of activities to enjoy, such as golfing, fishing and cycling. The hosts were friendly and helpful, providing new logs when we ran out. We had a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay – the perfect place to turn off your phone and just relax!
