It is within walking distance of Bedford Rail Station, providing easy access to London, and is close to a playground along the river. The hotel staff are attentive and friendly, helping guests navigate the stairs and providing table service for meals. The rooms are spacious and clean, with adjustable shower heads and cots for babies. Room service is prompt, and the receptionist was helpful on check out. Unfortunately, the booking experience was not satisfactory, with a refusal to honour a Booking.com reservation and poor communication in resolving the issue. It is a stark contrast to the excellent service experienced at Mercure Hotel Bedford.
