Relax in the spa, or take part in the various activities available, like kayaking and stand up paddleboarding. The rooms are comfortable, with family rooms also available. Unfortunately, there were some issues with the food and cot charges that left guests feeling disappointed. The staff were friendly and the extra touches were missing. All in all, Lusty Beg Island is a beautiful destination with lots to offer.

It boasts two championship golf courses, a Thai spa, and an infinity pool, as well as luxurious furnished rooms with stunning lake views. Our stay was exceptional, from the friendly and helpful staff to the immaculate grounds and facilities. However, the room service was not up to the standard of a 5-star hotel, with no explanation for blood on the bed sheets and no permission given for staff to enter our room. We felt our privacy was violated and were disappointed with the lack of response from reception. The bar and restaurant are of a high standard, however the hotel overall could do with a deep clean and refresh. All in all, we would recommend it as a luxurious stay, with the caveat that the hotel staff need to improve their standards.
