The staff were always available to help, with Jetal going the extra mile to secure us a cream tea despite being full. John in the bar was also very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent, with the chefs second to none. A short drive to the nearby Ware town offers a direct link to London, making it ideal for a night out. With great facilities, attentive staff and modern spa, this country house is the perfect place to stay.

On check-out, no apology was given and the overall experience was very poor. For a better stay, seek out alternative accommodation.

Unfortunately, some services such as room service and a full bar menu were not available due to staff shortages. Furthermore, the executive room upgrade was not up to par with other hotels, as there were no bathrobes, slippers, shower cap or even enough hangers in the wardrobe. The breakfast was also found to be unsatisfactory. Despite this, the staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. With a bit of extra effort, this hotel could be a great place for a weekend getaway.
