Our host Mano welcomed us warmly with freshly baked bread and treats, setting the scene for an unforgettable stay. The quirky treehouse has a cosy den and a studio kitchen, two bedrooms and a sheltered outdoor area with loungers, perfect for relaxing and watching the sun go down. Plus, it's just a short walk to the beach and to all the great restaurants, shops and activities in the town. There are even home grown herbs, cucumber and tomatoes to sample! Our host thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and we will definitely be back.

It's just 1 minute walk from the sandy beach and seashore and comes with complimentary membership to the leisure club just across the road. With loads of space and a great location, it's perfect for families. All Covid related aspects are taken care of and the house is maintained at very high standards. It's central to a number of attractions and ideal for entertaining. Beds are cosy and comfortable and the living space has everything you need. Michael, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be coming back again!

The Kingsmill Hotel, set in 4 acres of beautiful gardens, offers an unforgettable experience with its spa, swimming pool, free parking and proximity to Inverness city centre (1 mile away). Our stay in the modern Club and Spa property was made even better by a friendly welcome from Pamela, who gave us a free upgrade. We felt like we were ‘among friends’, and appreciated the complimentary “Wee dram” vouchers and kilted fudge. The rooms are well-furnished, with plenty of vanity, desk, lounge and modern bathroom space. The restaurant offers delicious options, and breakfast in the Club and Spa building is cooked to order. The vibe in the Whiskey Bar is great, and we regret not having time to enjoy the pool or spa. We can highly recommend it as a start/finish to the NC500, just be aware of its limited pet-friendly rooms before booking.
