The hotel rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, with a big bed and a radiator for temperature control. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the manager is quick to resolve any issues. Food is of high quality, both in the restaurant and from room service. The pool is amazing, with a sauna and steam room, and the spa bath is a great hot/cold experience. There is plenty of parking, and the area is great for exploring. The breakfast is ok, but not special. The leisure centre is first rate, but unfortunately spa slots are generally booked up a week in advance. All in all, Hellaby Hall offers a good stay.

Kenwood Hall is a 4-star hotel situated 1 mile from Sheffield city centre in 12 acres of beautiful grounds. With free on-site parking and a well-equipped leisure club, including an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, spa bath and gym, it is ideal for a luxurious getaway. While the facilities look great on the outside, the rooms have unfortunately seen better days with some wear and tear, broken items and outdated decor. The spa is limited with no booking space for treatments and the jacuzzi was being cleaned when we visited. The room we stayed in had an unappealing view and the springs of the bed and the pillows were very uncomfortable. We also experienced a number of issues with the hotel, such as a loud snoring neighbor, a long delay with the tea room and a hallway alarm going off multiple times. All in all, this hotel is sadly not worth the money we paid for it and we wouldn't recommend it.
