The en-suite bathroom in our room had a double shower and a large roll top bath. Breakfast is served in their garden room and includes delicious homemade granola, eggs from their own free-range chickens and home-made marmalade. You can even enjoy a glass of fizz on the balcony. A great find with high-end furnishings and quality, Fernside is the perfect place to relax and explore the local area. Highly recommended!

Molesworth Arms is a 19th century village pub situated in the idyllic village of Pyworthy, Devon, just 2 miles from the Cornish border and 9 miles from the sandy beaches in Bude. It offers a homely, special stay experience with friendly, welcoming hosts, clean and comfortable rooms, and delicious, wholesome, imaginative food with lots of interesting vegetarian options. Breakfast is superb and the evening meals are cooked with love and home-grown vegetables and herbs. It's a quirky place with great facilities, excellent pub accommodation and private courtyard entrance, all at a very reasonable price. Everything was to our satisfaction, including the thoughtful additional touches that make it feel very homely and the large breakfast. The hosts, Monique and Kit, are exceptional and the food was the best we had on our whole trip. It's a beautiful, quiet location, central for lots of places, and a great stay for a night or more.
