Craignair Cottage is a family-run holiday home situated a 10-minute drive from Castle Douglas. The traditionally-built granite house, just 1 mile from Dalbeattie town, boasts free parking and a large garden with open views of the countryside. Our hosts, Pat and Bill, were delightful and provided us with everything we needed for a healthy breakfast. The accommodation was well thought out and very comfortable. The beautiful location and amazing hosts offer a peaceful and private experience, with a clever design of space, lovely garden and thoughtful extras such as homemade shortbread and farm eggs. The sitting room could do with a more homely feel, but overall it is a wee slice of heaven! Highly recommend.
