Breakfast is exceptional with a good spread of continental and cooked breakfasts, including homemade produce and catering to different dietary needs. The hosts also provide a homely welcome with tea, home-made cake and great conversation. The room has plenty of storage, coat hangers and heating, while the ensuite is spacious with fluffy towels and toiletries. There is also a clucking chicken on the bed, showing the host's sense of fun. All in all, Hunter's Croft B&B is a great escape to explore the South Coast.

The continental breakfast offers lots of choice, including gluten-free options, and you can use the dining area to eat a takeaway if pre-arranged. The hosts are friendly but not intrusive, and will provide extra tea bags/coffee sachets if needed. You’ll be a 15-minute walk from the centre of New Milton and 20 minutes from the beach, but it’s worth it for the perfect stay.

Island View is a fantastic accommodation in a great location, with a wonderful host and plenty of amenities. Welcoming and friendly, Shelley and her family made us feel right at home. The room was private and comfortable, with an en suite and a separate breakfast room with a great continental breakfast selection and drinks. We were a short walk away from Lymington High Street, the Quay, pubs and restaurants. The private space in the loft had modern decor, with coffee, tea, cereal, biscuits, crumpets, fresh milk and juice in a tiny fridge. Bathrobes were also provided. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.
