Brantfell House is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for a comfortable and welcoming getaway in the Lake District. Just a short stroll from Ambleside's village centre, this beautiful Victorian house offers boutique-style rooms, many with views of the fells, free Wi-Fi, and excellent breakfasts. Our host, Adi, was very friendly and helpful, carrying our large suitcase up to our room, and providing advice on the best places to visit. Our room was absolutely perfect, with a king size bed, en-suite shower room, Sky TV, and a very comfy seating area. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options, and even vegetarian sausages for my wife. We were even given a complimentary craft beer for my husband's birthday. We were so impressed with our stay that we booked a 6 night stay for next year before we left. Brantfell House is the perfect base for a relaxing holiday in the Lakes.

Ambleside Salutation Hotel & Spa, BW Premier Collection is a modern hotel with a picturesque location in Ambleside. It features a spa, a brasserie, free parking and spacious rooms with free WiFi and views towards Wansfell. Our stay was amazing! Anna, the duty manager, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we had a great experience. Our room was spotless, warm and comfortable with a great view. We even had the chance to use the hot tub and sauna in the Tilberthwaite Lakeland Spa room! Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and all freshly cooked. The staff was very accommodating, helping us with our rental car issues and directing traffic to help the AA driver pick up the vehicle. The restaurant was classy and the food was delicious. The lounge areas were cozy and quiet. We highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious and relaxing stay.
