It offers free WiFi and parking, an award-winning breakfast menu featuring Cumbrian produce, and warm hospitality from hosts Ken & Cindy. Our room was spotless, well-decorated, and had a large window providing plenty of natural light. The en-suite was sparkling clean and the towels were fresh and fragrant. Breakfast was booked via text and had a large selection from traditional English, fresh fruit, cereal, and toast. Parking is on the street and unrestricted. The walls in the hall are covered in awards, showing that the Denehurst is the perfect choice for a stay in the Lake District. Enjoy a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere and fantastic hosts who will be sure to make you feel at home.

Annesdale House is a beautiful Victorian house set in a mature garden. Our hosts, Alena and her husband, are friendly and welcoming. Our room was luxurious, with a comfy bed, stylish bathroom, and underfloor heating. We had the option to enjoy our breakfast in our room, outside, or in the dining room, with a delicious selection of food. The house is in a great location, with Windermere and Bowness just a few minutes walk away. There are plenty of shops, cafes and beer gardens to explore and the lake is not far away. We also recommend taking a trip to Glenridding to climb Helvellyn. All in all, it was a wonderful stay and we would highly recommend it.
