The George Inn in Castleton offers adults-only accommodation with a restaurant, bar, terrace, evening entertainment and free WiFi. Our room was equipped with a fan, a mini fridge and complimentary tea/coffee/biscuits, and there were plenty of sockets to plug in hair appliances, phones and more. The staff are friendly and helpful - particularly Jessica who checked us in and Josh and Lily who were on duty during our stay - and the food is delicious, with breakfast included in the rate, and the 'Pizza Box' serving fresh pizzas. We were even allowed a meal in our room after an ultra marathon! The view of Peveril Castle and the Peak District landscapes is amazing, and the inn provides access to the backdoor/smoking area with resident's key fobs. Highly recommended!
