Set in Curbar, 7.2km from Chatsworth House, the Arms offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Our room was comfortable, with a large bathroom, TV and good WiFi, and the surrounding views of the hills were lovely. The generous breakfast, pre-ordered and served fresh, was delicious - full English, granola and fruit bowl. The staff and the pub owners were friendly and welcoming, and the bar had an excellent beer and gin selection. We had a great overnight stay and would recommend the Derwentwater Arms to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.
