Kilmorie House is a beautiful property situated in the affluent area of Elgin, close to the town centre. Our host Peter, a New Zealander, made us feel incredibly welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very tastefully decorated and had an en-suite bathroom. Breakfasts were first-class, thanks to the chef Ian (Iain). We also stayed in the separate Gig House, which was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Outside, there was a courtyard to sit in the sun. The house is full of memorabilia and antiques, and the host Pete looks after his guests really well. Our stay was absolutely perfect, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Elgin or the surrounding area.
