Bosta 12 Knock is the perfect place to stay in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis. Colin and Yen, the hosts, are extremely hospitable and welcoming. You can expect a warm welcome with tea and biscuits as soon as you arrive, and Yen even kindly provides snacks for your day trips. The house is exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a private bedroom, bathroom, and living space. The bed is very comfortable and clean towels and toiletries are provided. Yen also provides a generous breakfast with the best porridge, fresh fruit, juice, coffee/tea and a cooked breakfast. Colin even offered to give us a lift to the town, showing us the castle and pointing out the best pubs. Nothing was too much trouble for Yen, and she went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. This is the perfect place to stay - you’ll be given such a warm welcome and it’ll feel like a home from home.

Host Janice is helpful and informative, and even provided bread, milk, shortbread and delicious locally made Oatcakes and Tablet. 5-10 minutes walk to the town centre and ferry terminal, with free parking just on the other side of the street. Clean, modern and comfortable with Netflix and Amazon Prime enabled TV. Perfect for exploring Lewis!
