Macdonald Forest Hills Resort in Aberfoyle offers stunning views and a host of activities, including a fitness centre, pool, football pitch and more. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. Unfortunately, the condition of the apartments leaves something to be desired - they are outdated and in need of renovation. However, the resort's new General Manager has been very understanding and fair, refunding guests 50% of the holiday cost for any issues they've had with the apartment. Despite any shortcomings, the resort has a lot to offer, with a variety of water sports, Go Ape, shops, and a lovely town all just a short drive away.
