Lion Quays Waterside Resort is set in beautiful English countryside, with stunning views of the Llangollen Canal. All rooms have a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, a power shower and complimentary toiletries. Enjoy a delicious breakfast, quick and efficient service, and well-kitted out rooms. The restaurant experience however was not up to the standard of the rest of the resort, with long wait times for both meals and check-in. There were also issues with the canal, such as rubbish and silt, which prevented some guests from arriving in their boats. The Spa was good, but the room was cold and the towels not replaced between guests. Unfortunately, this resort falls short of the expectations of a four star experience.
