Harbour Hotel Brighton offers an unforgettable experience right by the iconic beach. The lively seafront is just a few minutes' walk away, giving you easy access to the Brighton Centre, The Lanes, and Brighton Pier. Despite its stunning location, our recent guest had a terrible stay. From being unable to book treatments to the small, smelly room, to the lack of welcome letter and instructions, they were disappointed. The air conditioning was well-hidden, the view was of a busy road, and the breakfast was a sham. The hotel offered a refund for the breakfast and a further £50 for the room, but this didn't make up for the ruined proposal and the partner's birthday. If you're looking for a romantic getaway or special occasion, there are better options than Harbour Hotel Brighton.

Rooms are dirty, with carpets full of crumbs, thick dust on curtains and furniture, and old, stained linen. Windows are single glazed and flimsy, making guests feel unsafe. There is no hot water in the rooms, and no hairdryers. The mini table is close to the wall sockets and is not properly cleaned. With a bit of attention and investment, this hotel could be great - but it's best to avoid it for now.
