This historic hotel is located in beautiful grounds 3.5 miles from central Norwich, and offers a golf course and a spa with pool. Unfortunately, our experience was far from ideal - the room was dirty and scuffed, the furniture was budget, and the bathroom had holes in the walls. We were moved rooms the next day, with a much higher standard of decor and attention to detail, but the facilities in the hotel were still unclean and staff were rude and unhelpful. We wish we had paid more for a nicer hotel, so we would advise others to do the same.

The bathroom is very small and the room is not ideal for families. The hotel can be short on staff, but the manager is always willing to help. The security door is not always secure which is a concern and the overall condition of the hotel is run down. A great location, but not the best value for money.
